The Massillon Museum is pleased to host the NEO Poetry Out Loud Regional Semifinals competition on Sunday, November 10, at 2:00 p.m. All are invited to support the Northeast Ohio region's student champions as they compete for the title of Northeast Ohio Regional Semifinalist and the chance to represent NEO at the State Finals in February. The Semifinals will take place in the Museum's Gessner Hall. The program is free and open to the public. Registration is requested at www.MassMu.org/Tickets. Poetry Out Loud is a national arts education program that encourages the study of great poetry by offering free educational materials and a dynamic recitation competition for high school students across the United States. Hundreds of students from Ohio participate in local and regional contests with a chance to represent the state in Washington, DC, in the spring.
