- Protected Poet : Julian Blackmon, also known as The Protected Poet, is a 4x Grand Slam Champion spoken word artist who first gained national recognition at Portland’s Big Foot Festival and later earned a second-place finish with the Berkeley Slam team. A dynamic traveling poet, he has performed in cities across the nation—from Los Angeles and Detroit to Chicago, Las Vegas, Portland, the Bay Area, and the Central Valley. In addition to captivating audiences with his energetic live performances, Julian is the author of the book A Peace of Me, through which he shares his powerful, healing, and personal message.
- Tera Da Poet : is a surfer, volunteer surf instructor, and community activist with a background in mathematics from UC Berkeley. She is the founder and executive director of S.T.E.A.M. Against Violence, a non-profit that transforms S.T.E.A.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) into a healing pedagogy for youth impacted by violence. Through her poetry, Tera uplifts and honors men—especially Black men—giving them their flowers while they’re alive. Her creative expression, fueled by her love for culture and the ocean, recently culminated in her debut poetry EP, *"Flowers,"* now available on all streaming platforms.
