The invitation is to co-create a circle of fellow poets, poetry lovers, and sacred witnesses to hold and be held in a compassionate container. We read our original poetry and from favorite poets as a way to express our emotions and to be received in community. We co-create our circle with agreements, check-ins, and meditation to fully arrive with one another. Then we read heartfelt poetry aloud, meditate on what is shared, and have reflections.

Haw Creek Park is located at 40 Avon Rd off of Tunnel Rd. We usually meet near the center of the park next to the small gazebo. There are often other events at the park, so make note that overflow parking is available nearby at the Beverly Rd lot next to Creekside Taphouse and also at East Asheville Library on Avon Rd.
