Poetry in MotionAwakening words to life
The dance is a poem of which each movement is a word!
Felt with a poetic translation we will bring poetry to life. Allowing our body to cultivate its unique artistry and finding expressions to awaken the words, we will use the Soul Motion movement practice as the foundation for exploration.
To begin we will construct a community poem using a very unique and artistic process developed by Soul Motion master teacher Winky Wheeler. This will lead us into the second half of our journey together where we will move the mystery and magic of these words with music and ritual. We will end with some yummy chai and afternoon tea to celebrate and acknowledge our creative time together and all that has unfurled from 2025.
With dance, play and curiosity we will explore alone and together how we move and can be moved by poetry. Everyone welcome and no dance or poetry experience needed. This is a held and facilitated afternoon.

I hold a deep passion in being present with people as they listen, discover and learn the language of their own unique body stories. As a well-travelled somatic therapist and Soul Motion Movement facilitator, I find joyfulness in opening nourishing and safe spaces for community and individuals to connect with themselves and each other.
With over 27 years of professional and lived experience, I work across three key modalities that are woven together uniquely for each person or group. This uses my training as a Somatic Therapist, a Samvahan Vedic Practitioner and a Soul Motion® Conscious Movement teacher and many other tools.
