Join the Albuquerque poetry community in this benefit and awareness raising event for Gaza Soup Kitchen where there will be a themed open mic, performances by former Albuquerque Poet Laureates Jessica Helen Lopez and Mary Oishi and City Slam Champion Marcial Delgado, and the musical group The Adjacents! $5 suggested minimum donation at the door. No one will be turned away due to lack of funds. Arrive early for open mic as there will be very limited spots. Open mic is a themed open mic theme is liberation focused on pro-Palestinian/anti-genocide pieces. No Zionist or anti-Semitic work will be welcome. Tell all your friends to come! This is your chance to do something about the terrible situation in Gaza and also enjoy art, music, and poetry at the same time!
