This month we have two poetry nights, with Alyshia Barnes kicking off our March events on March 17. (stay tuned for info about our ‘5th-Monday-poet’).
'Alyshia Barnes is a writer and multidisciplinary artist, with a love of poetry, digital drawing, cosplay, and miscellaneous crafts. They studied English and Writing at Newcastle Uni and digital storytelling/sound design at tafe.
Alyshia practices a variety of poetry, long and short, structured and free form, with particular focus on environment, place, and self, with tones ranging from meditative to horror.'
Poetry at the Pub commences at 7:30pm and you can sign up to read in the open set from 7pm. You can also join in via zoom, so you can be part of the readings any way that works!
