Join us on Monday, June 17 at 1:00 PM for a reading by distinguished poet Martín Espada, whose most recent book, Floaters (2021), was the winner of the National Book Award for poetry. The reading will take place at Wistariahurst Museum, 238 Cabot Street, Holyoke, MA 01040. Free on-street parking is available.
Martín Espada has published more than twenty books as a poet, editor, essayist, and translator, including Vivas to Those Who Have Failed and Pulitzer finalist The Republic of Poetry. His many honors include the Ruth Lilly Poetry Prize, the Shelley Memorial Award, and a Guggenheim Fellowship. Born in Brooklyn, he now lives in Western Massachusetts.
