Indulge in some tea and treats as you sharpen your writing abilities! Benefit from the expertise of our exceptional UT instructors without the need to enroll in the university. :)
This workshop is conducted by Dr. Mary Leauna Christensen, a lecturer from the UT English Department, and is tailored for writers at any level of skill and experience, encouraging them to explore poetry as a form of storytelling. Participants will engage with contemporary poems from authors such as Natalie Diaz and Jake Skeets, followed by an opportunity to craft their own pieces.
Our aim is to foster a supportive community of writers who are eager to help each other while enhancing their personal abilities.
Participants are asked to bring their preferred writing materials, be that pen/paper or laptop.
