hand-picked by st. louis’ darling Safa Khatib, this month’s artists span the U.S. & the globe in their work and practice. I am beyond ecstatic to hand the mic to them & welcome them into our p&r community.

flying in from nyc, Fargo Nissim Tbakhi is a Palestinian performance artsit and the author of TERROR COUNTER (Deep Vellum, 2025) and ANTIGONE. VELOCITY. SALT. (Deep Vellum, 2027).

our own hometown hero Layla Azmi Goushey is the founder and editor of Baladi Magazine and author of The Shop (Lunette Press, 2025). Her work also appears in Thyme Travelers: An Anthology of Palestinian Speculative Fiction.
