About this Event
Join us for a staged reading of the new book, POEMS OF 1968 by Don McLagan. It was a year of trouble. In 1968, the Vietnam War divided students against authority, and children against parents. The volcano of technology spewed new power and threats in equal measure. Civil rights were legislated on the willing and the unwilling - many were unwilling. The President stepped back from another run for office. Two leaders were assassinated. It was a year of division, hurt, and rage, it seemed, like no other.
