Poems at the Park returns! Our first event for the year will be on Saturday 8th February at Frog Park (within Orleigh Park) West End. Yaysayers Poetry brings together people who want to read their poetry to a local audience. If you would like to join us, all you need to do is get yourself down there! We welcome those who want to read and also those who just want to listen and enjoy.
We know there are many people out there who write their own poems, but rarely speak them aloud. If this is you, do something different and share them with the world.
There are also those who love the work of distinguished and emerging writers, and want to share it with the world in their own way. If this is you, we say, go for it!
There are no set guidelines on genre. This is a mish-mash.
So get your poems together, grab your friends and come down to the river. Frolicking is optional.
