Learn to get started with podcasting with media professional Joseph Corr. Covering everything from idea development to production and publishing, this hands-on session is perfect for beginners and those looking to refine their skills.
In this workshop, participants will learn about:
Pre-Production:
- Idea curation and scripting
- Artwork and pitching
Production:
- Voiceover skills
- Recording (sound and video)
Post-Production:
- Audio and video editing, AI tips and tricks.
- Uploading/publishing, ad insertion, and the basics of Spotify for creators.
- Growing your audience through social media and Patreon.
No prior experience is required – just bring your laptop, smartphone, and headphones and get ready to start your podcasting journey!
Spaces are limited, so bookings are essential.
About the Facilitator:
Joseph Corr has worked in media for over two decades, with experience at Disney, ESPN, Foxtel, and Channel 10. Currently, he is a Video Podcast Producer with 9Podcasts and Channel 9, specialising in content creation and production. With extensive industry knowledge, Joseph brings practical insights and real-world expertise to help you create and grow your own podcast.

Age: 16+
Skill level: No experience required.
