Join us for a special Preservation New Jersey on Tour event as we explore the rich architectural and cultural heritage of Perth Amboy through a guided historic house tour. Participants will visit some of the city’s most significant and beautifully preserved homes, many of which showcase a range of architectural styles and reflect the diverse history of this historic port city. Along the way, local experts and homeowners will share stories about the buildings, their restoration efforts, and the role these sites play in preserving Perth Amboy’s unique character. This tour offers a rare opportunity to step inside these historic properties and learn about the ongoing work to maintain and celebrate the rich history of Perth Amboy.This free program is open to the public and will include light refreshments and a guided site tour as part of the event. Presented in partnership with the City of Perth Amboy Historic Preservation Commission and Middlesex County, the program is made possible through the generous support of the Middlesex County Division of History & Historic Preservation.
