MICHAEL EXODUS
Producer and dub master for his label “Dub-O-Matic”. His sound is characterized by electronic sounds mixed with the roots of reggae and dub, which blend with synthetic rhythms to give life to his own style. From 2012 to today he has produced 20 vinyls and various digital releases on his label, collaborating with artists such as Ras Mykha, LucaDread, Fikir Amlak Weeding Dub, Rankin Delgado, Ras Divarius, Ranking Fox, BabbaJah,
Jamma Dim, Dubzoic, I David and many others others.
December 2019 a Maxi 12” vinyl release on King Shiloh's label (King Shiloh Majestic Music) featuring
Empress Black Omolo, I Jah Salomon & Tomer Yahieli with both sides produced and arranged by Exodus.
He has done Rmx for Panda Dub, Anna RF, No Finger Nails, Flox and many others, releases on international labels such as ODG (Exodub Ep - 2026) and appeared on several dub compilations. He has performed with international artists such as Iration Steppas, Dennis Bovel, King Shiloh, Danny Red, Brother Culture, Dub Judah, MurrayMan, Donovan Kingjay, to name a few. He has participated in the largest Italian dub festivals (Bababoom Festival - Manuel Dub - Dubstone, Reggaebus, Skank Dub!, Festaintenda) and important international festivals such as Reggaebus (BE), Mundial Festival (NL), Amsterdam Weekender (NL), Jim Camp (DE), Dub Vibration (AUT) and many shows throughout Europe.
In 2020 he founded his second label Bassline Society Records. Reached release n.20, where in addition to his own productions, he offers many emerging artists from the Dub - Steppa scene, all in digital format and free download.
Other projects:
• Selecta, operator, Mc of I-tal Skank Sound System (Rome - IT).
• Roots Recycler label project that deals with classic vinyl re-press of roots reggae, giving it a new life.
• Radio: from long time, it runs 2 radio shows on the French Rootslegacy web radio: "Dub Molecule" strictly steppa and dub selection, and "Ruff & Tuff" conducted with Makeleci more focus on roots reggae selections. www.rootslegacy.fr
• Dub Basement Studio: where he produces and collaborates with various artists of the roots reggae / dub scene, provides mix services, dub versions, mastering and musical productions.
