PMDD + NEURODIVERGENCE

Event Description:

Join us for a one off workshop on Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder (PMDD) and the link between neurodivergence (ND). Connect with others riding the waves of PMDD in a low pressure environment.

What will be covered:

• What is PMDD and how does it differ from PMS.
• The link between ND and PMDD.
• Signs + symptoms + impacts – and when they can present during your cycle.
• Support strategies and treatment options – holistic, natural and Medic*tion methods – empowering yourself and others, supporting menstrual and mental health.

This space is intentionally relaxed and low-demand.

Please be mindful to keep minimally disruptive for others sensorily.

What to Bring:

• Notepad and pen if you're someone who likes to take notes
• Lunch/snacks and anything else you think you’ll need to be comfortable

Important Notes:

We'd really appreciate it if folks bring their support workers, parents, or carers if they require tailored support or co-regulation. Having said that, we are always open to making the space as accessible and accommodating as possible.

Supervision Reminder:

Anyone under the age of 12—whether socially, developmentally, or chronically—must be supervised by a responsible (ish) adult at all times.

Where: 158 Margaret Street, Toowoomba (social story provided after booking)

Cost: This is a paid event with a tiered payment offering - general admission - $20, consession for consession holders - $10, NDIS payment and by donation.

By donation - Any amount is acceptable and helps us to be able to keep running this event, so please pay what you can by nominating an amount under the 'Donate' ticket option. Payments will have GST added at checkout.

NDIS Payment: If you have an NDIS plan and this support group aligns with your goals, there's the option to pay via NDIS. The rate it will be invoiced at is $30 per session.
