About this Event
The course is for anyone with a creative business, who is just about to launch, or who has launched and hasn't got their head around marketing. This course is perfect for people who don't know where to start with their marketing. No experience necessary, our tutor will be teaching the basics of social media and digital marketing.

Course Content
Week 1:
Introduction to marketing. Your Ideal Client: Discover who your ideal clients is and speak directly to them
Week 2:
Your Story: Get crystal clear on why you started your business and what makes your story unique
Week 3:
Dream Big: Identify your top business & personal goals for the year
Week 4:
Find what's already working really well in your business and start intentionally tracking your marketing efforts. Identifying the marketing channel that is right for you
Week 5:
Creating your 12-month strategy: Map out your year and plan your promotions. Automation & Taking Action: Schedule your content so you can automate your marketing & make life easier
What skills will I need?
Good computer literacy is essential, you must be able to effectively use a computer in order to watch and interact with the tutor on this course.
Equipment and Materials?
- Laptop or Desktop computer (tablets WILL NOT suffice.)
- Adequate internet connection*
- Google account for Google Meet/Classroom access
- All handouts to be supplied electronically by lecturer
On-site Activities Update
In order to ensure the safety of our staff, students and visitors we have decided not to reopen our college facilities to our Short Course cohort in the Autumn term.
