What's better than a Variety Show?A Variety Show where you can win MONEY!
We're so stoked to announce the launch of “Pluckin’ Fer Bucks!” at the BOVINE SEX CLUB starting Tuesday, November 4th, and continuing biweekly until we don't want to anymore.
HOW THIS WORKS:
Entry is $5 - this includes the musicians. No exceptions.
All of the night's proceeds will contribute to a prize pool, and will be up for grabs by the contestants throughout the night.
Each act will play 3-4 songs, after which they will have a chance to SPIN THE WHEEL. A digital wheel will be displayed on a projector with accompanying themes, sound effects, all that fun stuff.
WHEEL PRIZES:
Glad you asked. It could be a shot! ...of water. It could be a sticker! It could be pocket lint! It could be a gift card! However, one of the spots on the wheel will be “BUCKET OF THE BUCKS”...which means whoever spun the wheel, receives 100% of the cash from the entry fee! All of it!
This could be anywhere from $100 to $1000. It's all down to show many people show up. If no one wins the jackpot, the money will roll over to the next event, and be included in the next cash prize. This will keep going until someone lands on the cash.
IMPORTANT TO KNOW:
- A full backline will be provided, including a drum kit and stands. We encourage drummers to bring their own breakables, but some will be provided regardless to speed up set transitions.
- Full bands will take priority queue over solo acts, but both are equally encouraged to play and try your luck!
This event is for the community, by the community. Whether it’s a newly formed band, side project, cover set, or you just wanna try out some new originals, this is the place to do it!
Who knows? You play the worst (or first!) set of your life, and walk away with a fat stack of cash.
