Mono Lift will be used for all divisions for squats - Combo rack will be used for all divisions for bench

Texas Squat Bar (25kg) (for all squat flights)
Texas Power Bar (20kg) (bench)
Texas Deadlift Bar (20kg) (deadlift)
Kilos in warm-up (with squat & deadlift bars available)
**Walk outs are optional for squats
WEIGH-IN & EQUIPMENT CHECK:
Friday, April 11th, 2025, 9am-11am and 4pm-6pm.
Weigh-ins will be held at the location.
**No Saturday weigh ins
* NOTE: If you need to make an appointment outside of the allotted weigh-in period due to an extenuating circumstance (i.e. plane landing late, travel, traffic, work meetings, etc..), please reach out to Christie at [email protected]. We will NOT be doing same-day weigh-ins; However, we will work with you to get you weighed in.
MEET DAY:

RULES BRIEFING: Saturday, 8:15 am
LIFTING BEGINS: Saturday, 9:00 am
ENTRY FEES, PAYMENTS & REFUNDS:
$125 per lifter with $35 crossover fee for additional events. Payment of entry fees will be done via stripe. You will be redirected to PayPal to submit your entry after completing your registration details. You will receive an email confirmation after your payment has been processed. Entries without payment will be deleted. Entry deadline is April 6th, 2025. No entries will be accepted after this date.
**Flight Roster will be posted the night AFTER night weigh-ins on the FB event page. It also can be accessed through Liftingcast.com
No refunds unless the meet fills up. If meets fills up and someone from the waiting list can take your spot, then you will be issued a refund minus a $25 administration fee.
RULES:
Raw division: requires a one-piece singlet and allows 4-inch-wide buckle or lever belt (Velcro belts are allowed at this meet however not at Regional, National, or Pro Events), wrist wraps can be up to 1 meter, and single layer knee sleeves. Over the calf, long socks are required for the deadlift for all lifters.
Raw with Wraps Division: is the same as raw except it allows up to 2.5-meter knee wraps for the squat.
Single-Ply rules: Single-Ply squat, bench, and deadlift suits only! No Velcro straps on the squat/deadlift suit. Velcro is allowed on the bench shirt but must close in the back completely - no open-back shirts. No Velcro straps are allowed on the squat or deadlift suits. No support briefs are allowed in single-ply.
ATTEMPTS:
First attempts must be given at weigh-ins and ALL attempts must be given in kilos (kg). Attempts must be in 2.5kg increments and must be provided within 60 seconds after completion of the previous attempt. Should a lifter not provide an attempt within the 60 seconds after the completion of an attempt, the next attempt will automatically be increased by 2.5 kilos, IF the previous attempt was successful. If no next attempt is provided and the previous attempt was unsuccessful, the weight for the next attempt will remain the same.
RECORDS:
You must let the officiates know you are breaking or setting a state record BEFORE you attempt it. If you do not, it will not be counted. You may view PLU State Records on the PLU website. Only State records can be broken at this meet. To break the record, you must beat the current record or preset by a minimum of 0.5kg (500 grams/1.1lbs).
SPECTATORS:
Doors will open to the public at 8:00 am, ADMISSION is $10 for spectators and $15 for coaches. Athletes are permitted ONE coach per athlete!
**Admission for all active PLU members is $5!
LIVE STREAMING:
There will be live streaming of this event through YouTube. To stream, search for the PLU Alabama on YouTube for access.
** Lifters are encouraged to read the PLU Rulebook. NOTE: there is no approved gear list, the items only need to meet specs (i.e. material length, material thickness, material fabric, etc...)
