Run: Join PLR Founder Filsan for a 2km and 4km run/walk, followed with brunch.
Keep in mind... we meet you exactly where you’re at (no need to be a "runner") — just come as you are. And if cost is a barrier— please email: , NO ONE will be turned away.
Discussion: Offering up an analysis of current cultural trends that promote weight-loss as wellness and health, we will showcase how this causes harm, while discussing how Running Culture fits in this new landscape.
Our Goal: is to widen our analysis and broaden the discussion surrounding Body Acceptance, sharing why Fat Acceptance (and not Body Positivity) is important in our Running spaces.
