Join us for a Ploughman’s Buffet, where you can create your perfect Ploughman’s lunch. No cheese limits – your dreams are about to get wild!
In partnership with the The Royal Oak Pewsey, we’ll be showcasing the finest foods from Wiltshire and surrounding counties (because proper Cheddar cheese hails from Somerset, after all!). Think of it as a Famous Five-style feast, one Aunt Fanny herself would be proud of.
Grab a ticket quickly and dig in with unlimited visits to the food table! Start with a few samples, see what you love – then go for it!
Alongside authentic Somerset Cheddar (we’re aiming for two or more varieties), you’ll find a selection of Wiltshire and Dorset cheeses, including Wiltshire Loaf from Brinkworth Dairy , and home-cooked ham. Marshallsbakeryltd will provide a range of breads, including one baked exclusively for this event and future gatherings. Fresh local fruits and vegetables will be supplied by Heritage Fine Foods and others.
Brave (chutney and pickles) and Tracklements will be on offer too!
As an ambassador for Great West Way , it’s important to me not only to promote the Vale of Pewsey and surrounding areas but also to celebrate what makes this region so beautiful – its farming and food production. I aim to involve Wiltshire Marque and Visit Pewsey Vale to highlight the incredible work they’re doing.
