About this Event
Plot Twist is a 24-hour play festival and fundraising event staged by students in the high school conservatory program here at Artios Academies of Sugar Hill. Students who submit plays are given a series of quirky prompts that they must incorporate into their 10-minute original play and submit them within 24 hours! 4 winning plays are then staged and performed in one day at the Artios Warehouse Theater. This event serves as a fun way for our students to collaborate and exercise their comedy skills in a low-pressure, super-fun setting. It also allows us to feature the work of some of our students who may not love the performing side of theater but enjoy the creative writing side of the arts. This fun event will serve as a fundraiser for us to continue to invest in tools and equipment for both our classroom training and performing arts programs!
