Join us for Week 4 of our Plein Air Painting Series at Three Leaf Farm in Lafayette, CO, where we will explore the majestic beauty of mountain landscapes and dramatic skies. This class is open to all skill levels—whether you're just starting or looking to refine your skills, you’ll gain valuable insights into painting large-scale, awe-inspiring landscapes. Session 4: The Mountains – Grand Landscapes & Dramatic Skies
In this session, we’ll focus on capturing the grandeur of mountain vistas and the sweeping skies that often accompany them. Learn how to approach mountain landscapes with strong compositions, layering techniques and atmospheric effects that create depth and realism. From sketching the landscape’s structure to painting dramatic skies and textured rocky ridges, this class will teach you how to capture the awe and scale of the natural world in your artwork.
