In the context of art, it specifically refers to painting outdoors, capturing the effects of natural light and atmosphere. Join members of the Grayslake Arts Alliance as they guide you through a Plein Art Painting Workshop on Wednesday, August 20 at the Grayslake Millennium Court clock tower (267 Cty A27, Grayslake, IL 60030). The workshop will begin at 5pm with an art critique at 7pm. The cost is $15.00 and sketchbooks, pencils and water will be provided. Please bring the paints and tools of your choice.
