About this Event
Have you ever wondered what “painting en plein air” means? The term is loosely translated as “painting in the out of doors” and originated in Britain in the early 1800s, then became popular in the late 19th century Europe with the Impressionists. Artist Steve Puttrich, who has previously showcased his work at Barrington’s White House, will give an engaging and instructive demonstration of plein air painting on a late-summer afternoon in Barrington. Join Steve at the corner of Cook & Station Streets.
PLUS, this will be your last chance to sign up at discounted price for participation in 2024’s Paint the Town Barrington! Plein Air event, with the discounted price of only $25
