Come and immerse yourself in the charm and beauty of historic Liberty Missouri at the 1st annual Art on the Side: Plein Air Liberty event! On Saturday October 5th from 8 am to 5 pm artists of all skill levels are invited to capture the essence of this picturesque town brimming with historic homes landmarks and scenic parks.
Participants will find endless inspiration as they paint amidst the vibrant atmosphere of Liberty’s Farmers Market and Pumpkin Festival. With so many wonderful places to set up an easel this event promises a day filled with creativity and community spirit.
Event Highlights:
· Open to All Artists: Whether you're a seasoned painter or a budding artist you're welcome to join and showcase your talent. Only registered date/time stamped art will be eligible for prizes.
· Pre-registration: For just $35 participants will receive lunch water an artist care package and a discount on workshops. Date/time stamping begins at 8am and ends at 11am.
· Judging and Prizes: Judging will take place at 5 pm with over $1000 in cash prizes and three $300 purchase prizes up for grabs.
· Public Awards Event: The awards ceremony open to the public will feature refreshments and a chance to view and purchase the artists' creations.
· Community Engagement: The public is encouraged to come out meet the artists and watch them paint throughout the day.
