Plein Air 2025 is sponsored by the Friends of Brooker Creek Preserve, Inc. to encourage the use of the Preserve as an inspiration for artists to create nature-inspired works of art. All artists (amateurs to professionals) are invited to participate in showing their talent and support for Brooker Creek Preserve by creating art inspired by the wildlife and natural landscape of the Preserve.
- All artwork must be created on February 28th or March 1st within the Preserve grounds.
- Up to two pieces per artist may be submitted.
- The resulting works will be displayed in the Brooker Creek Preserve Auditorium Gallery through April 27th, at which time all unsold artworks must be removed.
- Sale of artwork is encouraged and 20% from any sales is requested as a donation to Friends of Brooker Creek Preserve, Inc.
- A Reception and Awards program will take place from 1:00 to 3:00 PM on Sunday, April 27th.
Cost to participate is a $20 non-refundable fee. Early registration is strongly encouraged to assure participation. The show will be judged, and cash prizes will be awarded for Best in Show ($120), First ($100), Second ($75), Third ($50), and Visitor’s Choice ($25).
