Please Touch | Debut Solo Exhibition by Cary Daly

Awarded an Artist Support Grant for her debut exhibition, interdisciplinary artist Cary Daly invites you to Please Touch - a tactile exploration of aging, femininity, and identity through humor and fabric-based media.

Combining interactive soft sculpture, sewn installations, and mixed media painting, Please Touch challenges traditional gallery norms by encouraging physical interaction with the artwork. Cary reclaims historically “feminine” materials - quilting, sewing, and fabric - as tools for empowerment and vulnerability.

Rooted in Cary’s personal journey as a mother, educator, and artist, the exhibition centers inclusivity and accessibility, creating a space where people of all abilities can engage with art through touch.

PLEASE TOUCH will be on view in the members gallery at Artserve from 9/26/25 - 1/2/26.
