Please join us at and make a donation to the Yachting Community Thanksgiving Gift. Raising funds for Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Center and Newport Community School.Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Community Center’s Food Pantry will be offering a classic Thanksgiving meal to registered families. They will also be handing out supermarket gift cards. Last year, they helped 2,300 people/900 families and expect to help even more this year.
Newport Community School will also be supporting Newport families. Last year with the help of our funds they assisted 60 families with everything for a traditional Thanksgiving meal; turkey, fixings, vegetables, the works.
Donations can be made Online with PayPal, or please join us at the Clarke Cooke House on November 19th, or IYAC on November 20th, to make your donation in person.
Donations are distributed directly to these organizations. A suggested Donation is $50 which would cover half the cost of a Thanksgiving meal. When we all pitch in a little bit, we can help a lot! Last year we raised $6,006.70 thanks to you.
