Join Us for a Volunteer Meet & Greet – Sunday, April 6th!Dear Community Members of Porters Lake and Surrounding Areas,
We need your help!
The Porters Lake Community Service Association (PLCSA) is a not-for-profit organization run entirely by volunteers. We are not funded by HRM; instead, we rely on fundraising, grants, rentals, and Thursday night Bingo to keep our doors open and events running.
Although we have an incredible group of dedicated volunteers, we are always looking for more helping hands. After all, as the saying goes, "Many hands make light work!" Whether you can spare a few hours each month or are looking for a more regular volunteer role, we welcome your support.
We invite you to join us for an Open House on Sunday, April 6th, between 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM, at the PLCSA.
Here’s what you can expect:
• Meet current board members and volunteers
• Learn about the wide range of volunteer opportunities
• Discover what we do and what we have to offer the community
• Sign up for our mailing list and volunteer opportunities
• Enjoy coffee, tea, and snacks while connecting with others
• Ask questions and share your ideas!
