A very chilled and cosy session setting our creative intentions for the year ahead. What do you fancy trying out this year? New writing styles? Performance styles? Subjects?Are you Yearning for learning? Or craving collaboration? Got a protest to perform? Ambitious aims?We'll share a cuppa and a biscuit while working out what creative deliciousness we want to get our teeth into this year.Whether your aim to to write a couplet, compete in a slam, publish a pamphlet, or gain the confidence to read at our open mics, bring your note book and optional blanket/fluffy jumpers and we'll see how we can help with your missions!
About your tutor
Sarah is a depressed anxious feminist mostly found on pyjamas, or clothes which look suspiciously like pyjamas... Writer, performer and podcaster, her work explores "the things we lower our voices to talk about". She is a regular workshop facilitator with the TWP and tutor at our annual Spoken Word Boot Camp, known for her ability to set everyone at their ease thanks to her commitment to safe spaces and accessibility.
