The Crown Family PlayLab offers families with 2-6 year olds a weekly PlayLab PlayDate on Wednesdays in 2024. ?They are free, drop-in activities featuring storytime sessions, music and movement circles, science experiments, and more. ?
? May 22: AANHPI Month Storytime: a bilingual storytime session hosted by the Chicago Public Library. CPL readers will feature stories honoring Asian American Native Hawaiian Pacific Islander Month!
? May 29: Lily Pad Obstacle Course: Pretend to be frogs hopping through their habitats!
? June 5: Storytime with Local Children's Author, Markedia Alston: Alston will be reading her book, The Boohoo Boohoo Bear, and will be giving away free, signed copies on a first come, first served basis!
