Omaha's Best FREE Summer Concerts continue August 11 & 12!???Playing with Fire 2023 is closing out with a lot of soul, funk, Southern rock, and rootsy blues with guitars, horns, and unforgettable, powerful vocals from Canada, Denmark, the UK, and good ole' USA.

ARTIST LINEUP
8:30pm: Headliner: Welcoming the return of Thorbjørn Risager & The Black Tornado – Award-winning Danish blues-rock band from Copenhagen has a fierce horn section and accolades glory from their 2019 PwF appearance. We just had to bring them back for an encore performance!
6:45pm: Samantha Martin & Delta Sugar – Seven-piece Toronto blues band renowned for their mix of blues, gospel, and rock with a dyn-o-mite and fierce, lovable, and massive vocalist leading the pack!
SATURDAY / AUGUST 12

ARTIST LINEUP
8:45pm: Headliner: Bywater Call – Fueled by a smokin’ seven-piece and powerful vocalist, this Toronto-based southern soul band blends blues, roots-rock, and southern soul. Any music lover who has seen this band will tell you - This IS a must-see!!!
6:55pm: Joanne Shaw Taylor – This critically acclaimed, sultry British singer-guitarist was discovered at age 16 by Dave Stewart of the Eurythmics. Still, in her 30s, she's breaking into the UK Top 20 Album Charts, becoming one of the most sought-after guitarists in the world of rock and having CDs produced by Joe Bonamassa and Josh Smith.
5:35pm: Josh Hoyer & Soul Colossal – An Omaha favorite, this Lincoln band has earned multiple OEA Awards for its raucous funk. killer horns and smooth, soulful sounds emanating every note.
4:30pm: BluesEd / Us and Them – Omaha youth music program supported by PwF playing Saturday’s opener since 2004 inception.
COST: It's FREE!
Free-will donations are welcomed. All Saturday night donations are shared with our non-profit partner, BluesEd.

Coolers, picnic baskets, blankets, lawn chairs, sunglasses, favorite family, and bestie friends.

Free-will donations are accepted online and day of the show. A benefactor will match all donations 'Dollar for Dollar' in 2022.
