We invite young adults from 17 to 21 years old to the workshop "Playground on a budget".
The goal of this workshop is to create scale models for an imaginary playground. But what makes this playground special is that everything is inspired and made out of trash, old household items, discarded street furniture, etc. In the workshop, the participants are put in the roles of designers that have a difficult task to create playgrounds from these discarded, upcycled objects - "on a budget".
The material we will use is wood, cardboard, etc. The participants will have a chance to improve their skills of working with wood and creating miniatures. Throughout the workshops we aim to create a dialogue about shaping our cities when it comes to upcycling and applying creativity in daily lives.
Registration is obligatory [email protected]
The workshop and all material is free.
The artists MonoMint are part of the residency programme Fresh A.I.R. of the foundation Berliner Leben.
