Playful Nature️- Creative Play Art Workshop ⭐️️

Hosted by artist and illustrator Rachel Browne, this workshop is a safe, joyful space designed to help you to find your creative flow, reconnect with play and relax. ✨💗🌀⭐️🖌️

Through gently guided art activities, you’ll be invited to embrace imperfection and become immersed in the process, rediscovering the child-like joy of making- just for the sake of it.

Drawing inspiration from nature, affirmations and mindful play, you’ll explore mark-making and collage, crafting your own concertina art booklet.

There will also be calming music, refreshments and nibbles to help you get into your flow.

No prior art experience needed or expectation, just show up as you are

What to Expect...

Warm up to creative flow-

• Draw to music
• Draw with your less dominant hand
• Gestural mark-making

Collage, play & create-

• Cut up and re-imagine your own drawings
• Collage using a curated selection of Rachel’s illustrated sheets, shapes and textures
• Add nature-inspired affirmations
• Build your final piece into a concertina-style booklet to take home
  About the facilitator...
  Rachel is a Belfast-based artist and illustrator from County Down with a BA Hons in Textile Design from the Glasgow School of Art. Rachel’s work invites you to experience the world with child-like wonder- a reminder to reconnect with our playful nature. Through layered gestural marks, illustration and intentional affirmations, she captures essence and joy.
