About Playful Gardens
CAMHS, the University of Dundee's Botanic Garden, Art at the Start, DCA, Scrap Antics and Barnardo's have partnered up to make Playful Gardens! We offer a range of playful and creative activities that will be spread through the garden so you can choose what suits your family. Activities will include Loose Parts play with scrap antics, forest school and sensory activities from CAMHS, messy art with Art at the Start, more structured art workshops with DCA, indoor games and outdoor play prompts from Barnardo's. We'll also have some visiting organisations offering different workshops every month. The garden is a beautiful safe space to enjoy with plenty of room to run about, but it's easy to find quiet areas for those who need a calmer spot. There will be support if you want someone to talk to. We will provide snacks and drinks. We would like to make the day as comfortable for you as we can. If you have any particular needs that you would like to discuss with us before hand, please do get in touch with Playful Gardens Co-ordinator Lauren at [email protected]
