The second edition of playful creatures this time we have a whole dojo to monkey around
!
Welcome your inner child your mammalian instinct to play. We will be exploring different aspects of physical and imaginary play. You can expect a combo of contact impro play fight role play and clowning.
This a moment for people who want to reconnect with their innate playful nature. For people who want to expand their playful vocabulary and capacity to respond in the moment from a place of feeling and mindfulness.
Are you a little unsure whether you still have it in you to play? No worries. You do. And we got you covered. The first hour will consist of several little games to warm up our bodies and imagination so that we feel ready and inspired to discover many different ways of play. Expect to roll tumble jump shriek and laugh a lot.
The second part consists of a play fight circle. A moment to invite/challenge the other creatures that you would like to connect with. A moment to witness other's play and create that safe space we all need.
In the third part we open the whole dojo for our delight. There will be several "zones" for different types of play and of course a chill zone to rest chat and faff around.
The doors open half an hour before get in early and start sniffing around the space. Be on time for the start!
Afterwards we can hang out in the cafeteria (or outside in the park if the weather allows) with a potluck for those who want (bring something yummy to share).
Come as you are with a fresh sense of curiosity and comfy clothes.

Harald is a movement and play enthusiast always looking for the next tree to climb. Trained as a yoga teacher and dance/movement therapist he is comfortable in as many practices as there are spices in an Indian curry.
Since his first acquaintance with playfights Pieter has been enthusiastically hosting them in Brussels for almost a year. "Seeing people connect in playful tactile ways that they normally can't in society is what makes this all so valuable for me."
