Join your neighbors and friends for a book reading and playdate at Luken Park in Roseville, CA.
Roseville author Sharon Fujimoto-Johnson will be reading her book "The Mochi Makers".
"A girl and her grandmother spend the day making mochi together in this gentle and joyous “storytelling treat” (Kirkus Reviews, starred review) celebrating family, tradition, and the memories that matter most."
And bring a children's book to donate! The event is collecting books to donate to Kidz Community's Head Start Placer program. They need 400 children's books, let's help them reach that goal!
This event is hosted by the Placer County Democratic Party.
Sharon will be selling (and signing!) copies of her books as well.
