Join us for a fun and creative two-part event where you can unleash your inner artist and sculpt your own masterpieces out of clay with Founder of Better Food, Phil Haughton. No experience necessary – just come ready to get your hands dirty and have a great time!
Over two evenings Phil will share all that he’s learnt over the past many years of playing with clay. He’ll be sharing his passion for making with you and will guide you through the process to create something special. Perfect if you’re looking for a homemade gift for someone special this Christmas.
First session: Thursday 17th October, 6pm-8pm
Phil will talk you through the basics of hand modelling then it’s over to you to make and create your pieces! Phil will take these home to dry and fire them ready for you to decorate at the next session.
Second session: Thursday 14th October, 6pm-8pm
Time to decorate your pieces! Phil will then fire these one last time and then you can arrange a time to collect them from Better Food St Werburghs.
Collection session: Thursday 5th December, 6pm
We’d love to celebrate your amazing creations together and for everyone to see the finished pieces. Please join us at our Christmas Market at St Werburghs to collect your pottery and have a winter warmer.
If you’re unable to make the collection session, you can arrange to pick up your piece from St Werburghs.
Please only book if you can attend both sessions.
Don’t miss out on this opportunity to relax, unwind, and get creative with clay. This event is perfect for anyone looking to have a good time and make something beautiful with their hands. We can’t wait to see what you create!
