About this Event
’s (CFC) Play Together, Grow Together: A Family Learning Festival is a new event created to directly support our community. This free festival will bring together an estimated 500 children and families for interactive, nature-inspired activities that encourage healthy parent and child interactions and foster a love of learning. Families will enjoy hands-on activities while accessing valuable health and well-being resources.
The festival includes opportunities for exploration, including planting seeds, painting pots, engaging in sensory activities with natural materials, and more. Valuable resources will be shared during this event that celebrates our vibrant community and our earliest learners!

Activities Include:
- Paint & Plant – Decorate your own terra cotta pot and plant a special seed with your child to take home and watch grow!
- Floral Art Creations – Design a memorable piece of art or bookmarks together using a selection of beautiful, dried flowers —perfect for little readers and artists!
- Sensory & Nature Play – Younger children can explore a variety of sensory activities and natural materials, fostering curiosity and discovery.
- Live DJ & Music – Enjoy a family-friendly DJ playing upbeat songs and children’s favorites to keep the fun going all day!
- Mini Book Fair & Giveaway – Each child can select up to two free books to take home and enjoy!
- A Magical Experience! - We’re excited to have Jeff Thomson, a skilled magician specializing in up-close interactive magic that will amaze children and parents alike. Don’t miss the chance to witness mind-blowing tricks and create unforgettable family memories!
- Giveaways & Parent Resources – There will be a variety of giveaways, free resources, and handouts that will include tips and information on how to continue the fun and learning at home!
