Saturday 20th July 10am - 1pmA Sealife Sculpture workshop with artist Peter Margerum. Join us on the beach to make a sea creature using plastic beach waste and everyday objects. We will use wire and fixings to join the materials together, and the finished sculptures will be suitable for displaying outdoors.
There are 3 sessions that you can book onto 10-11am, 11-12pm and 12-1pm. Please choose the right slot for you. The tickets are for a family, you do not need to book at ticket for each person attending.
This session is good for families with children age 4 and up. All children must be accompanied by an adult, all grown-ups must join in, everyone needs to play !!

Play on the Beach is a series of playful and creative sessions for families on Hive Beach, Burton Bradstock, scheduled at various times throughout the year, from May to October.
Each experience will be different and will be led by either Jo from Oops Wow Messy Art, Clare Smith, forest and beach school leader from Thriving Wild, Leah Miles, yoga and movement practitioner from Yoga with Leah, or Peter Margerum eco artist (in some cases the experiences may be a collaboration between two or three of these people !). This session is led by local artist Peter Margerum who will be creating sculpture from waste plastic.
Booking is required (see: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/o/play-on-the-beach-67205396603 ) and places are limited. A ticket is for the family, you do not need to book a place for each person attending.

Please dress for mess, mud, wind and showers, paddling accidents and baking hot sun..... all of these can happen in one session.
