Play N‘ Parlay is an interactive music game night with cash prizes. We’re back on tour this summer with Social Status at their BeSocial community spaces and you know we had to start it at home, Charlotte! This time around, the event is FREE.99! As the years have gone by, we've been able to organically expand the Play N' Parlay brand to a few cities. This is a new opportunity to hit new ones, and make some great connections based on a common love of music. There will be two sessions for the day, and you can simply rsvp for a time slot while tickets last. THEY WILL GO FAST! This event IS 21+, and we will be checking ID's at the door!
There will be new and creative games that tests your knowledge in hip hop, r&b and pop categories. We aren't your typical "Who sang that?" type of trivia night. Do you know who sang the background of and helped write Michael Jackson's "Butterflies"? Or would you know who I'm talking about when I say the songwriter tag "Another B Cox joint"? How about the song(s) that sampled Eric B. & Rakim's "I Know You Got Soul"?
Go listen to your favorite playlists. Ask your fave DJ to play your some classics. Then make your way to BeSocial on July 6th and win some money! Ticket price includes admission, mini bar, and various event activations, including the DIY bar and a themed photo booth! Be sure to follow @playnparlay on IG to start playing before the event!
