I don’t know much, but one thing I do know is that if you aren’t helping other people, you’re doing life wrong. Some of us have a lot to give, some of us have very little, but we all have something to give. Love your neighbor. The Golden Rule. They’re such simple statements, but I believe them with my entire being. It won’t take you long to figure out that my passions in life are country music, baseball, and serving others. On November 22nd I’m bringing them all together with intentions of helping those who need it across the entire Gulf Coast with the introduction of “For The Coast”.
“For The Coast” is a brand new charitable initiative designed to help Gulf Coast organizations, groups, and people that need it most. It is intended to support a multitude of non-profits, charitable endeavors, and events. It is not focused on one specific charity or cause.
This year proceeds from the event will directly support Open Doors Homeless Coalition, Pink Heart Funds, Junior Auxiliaries of Gulfport & Biloxi/Ocean Springs, local animal shelters, and servicemen & women who currently need to make ends meet.
This event, Play More Country Music “For the Coast”, is the official launch of this cause. The night will feature multi-award winning singer/songwriter Jared Daws, myself, and other local songwriters playing a whole lot of country music. There will be a great silent auction, a 5050 raffle, and Biloxi Shuckers clubhouse sale on the third floor. Biloxi Shuckers season ticket holders will have early, exclusive access to this sale with their purchase of a ticket to the event. With every ticket purchase, not only are you supporting people in need, but you’re supporting great local music and artists and two of the absolute best entertainment spots on the Gulf Coast.
Here’s how you can help… BUY TICKETS. You can purchase your tickets to this evening of country music directly from Ground Zero Blues Club and this is the best way to help us launch this new fund. Secondly, if you have the means, you can purchase a $1,000 sponsorship for your family, friends, business, whatever. Both of these sponsorships include exclusive seating at the venue. And trust me, it’s the best indoor venue around. If you can’t make it, consider purchasing tickets to be donated to families and military members in need.
