Door Community Auditorium brings Play It Forward back to our stage to honor the memory of Pete Thelen, our beloved friend, committee member, and co-founder of the Play It Forward concerts. These shows bring together some of Door County’s favorite musicians to showcase their prodigious talents in an evening that celebrates community and musicality. Originally inspired by the life and legacy of Bo Johnson, a young Sister Bay resident who died in 2012, Play It Forward does just that: participating musicians donate their time, and proceeds from the evening go to benefit a worthy cause. This year’s event will benefit the charity of the Thelen family’s choice.
