LOVER AND THE BELOVEDDo you long for a deeper sense of connection to yourself, to others, and to life itself? Join us for an evening of connection in which we explore the practices of bhakti yoga and expressions of spiritual love. Throughout the evening we will look at different aspects of love and where it can find a place in our lives. The structure of the evening is designed to first help you arrive, slow down, and let go. From there we’ll connect with each other through simple movement and mantra chanting. Building on this connection we will guide you through exercises to further open our minds and hearts to our deepest desires through guided enquiry and a sharing circle. And finally we will guide you as a group through a meditation and Kirtan (mantra singing) offering a joyful way to touch our deepest desires. Spoiler: that deepest desire, as you might have guessed, is most often love in one form or another. A final thought, I once heard that trying to explain ‘divine love’ or ‘love of the divine’ is like trying to explain the taste of honey to someone who has never tried it. Words can help give you an indication of what you’re looking for but ultimately you have to taste it for yourself. And once you do taste it .. it is truly life changing. So please come along, and see if together we can open that jar of honey and taste divine love.

Citralekha Dasi (Citra) - For as long as she can remember — through high school, studies, and later her work as a contemporary ballet dancer— she was always searching for depth, trying to understand who we truly are and what gives life meaning. When she was 21, the longing for answers became so strong that she decided to quit her job at Ballet Bern, leave her apartment, step out of the life she knew, and make a world travel in order to explore different traditions and streams of thought. This journey finally led her to India, where she stumbled upon the authentic Vedic scriptures and the yogic paths of Self-realization. They opened her eyes to a different reality and melted her heart, revealing a new world of realization and a sense of purpose behind everything.
Returning to Holland with gratitude and renewed inspiration, she longed to share what she had learned. Thus, she started a company 'Vedic Essence' in order to hopefully offer others a glimpse of that beautiful, transformational wisdom and way of life through Yoga, meditation & philosophy classes.
Michael Jenks – his drive in life is to share the knowledge of love, peace and Happiness with the world. He studied Yoga in France, The Netherlands and India as well as following the tantric teachings through the Play Community. In his workshops and classes he aims to share the ancient knowledge of Bhakti Yoga in a practical, fun and experiential way – to help others feel the joy he has found through Yoga.

De workshop wordt gegeven op de Playground aan de Kanaalweg 84A in Utrecht.

De parkeerplaats is afgesloten met een slagboom. Als je aan komt rijden zijn er twee opties:
1) Bel bij de slagboom aan. Er gaat binnen dan een bel en dan kunnen we voor je open doen (Let op: het kan soms even duren en alleen tijdens de inloop van de workshop!) Horen we de bel niet?
2) Laat dan de Play-telefoon overgaan (06-28998587). We nemen niet op, maar zullen wel de slagboom open doen :-)

~ Tickets
Je kunt een kaartje kopen via Hipsy of (als er nog plek is) aan de deur.
Kosten: €22,- (inclusief onbeperkt thee, water en wat lekkers). Of één strip van je PLAY strippenkaart (de Play strippenkaart kost €100 voor 5 events en is een jaar geldig). Ook bij een strippenkaartreservering rekenen we je op je komst en gelden dezelfde annuleringsvoorwaarden.
~ Annuleren:
Stuur een mailtje naar [email protected] dat je je ticket wilt annuleren, waarbij onze annuleringsvoorwaarden van kracht zijn (www.playcommunity.nl/algemene-voorwaarden). (De kern is dat je je ticketprijs terugkrijgt bij middag- of avondworkshops tot 1 week van tevoren, dagworkshops tot 2 weken van tevoren en cursussen/reeksen tot 3 weken van tevoren. Bij middag- of avondworkshops wordt €3 administratiekosten ingehouden, bij dagworkshops en cursussen €20 en bij vakanties en festivals €30).
~ Wachtlijst:
Als het evenement is uitverkocht proberen we, tot 48 uur voor aanvang van de workshop, binnen onze mogelijkheden je kaartje door te verkopen aan iemand op de wachtlijst zodat je je geld terug kunt krijgen. We vragen je met zorg om te gaan met kaartjes kopen en annuleren - het kost ons tijd en moeite en we kunnen niet garanderen dat we een vervanger kunnen vinden. We brengen €3 in rekening voor het vinden van een vervanger van de wachtlijst.
Heb je 48 uur van tevoren nog niks van ons gehoord? Of annuleer je pas daarna? Dan kun je je kaartje zelf proberen door te verkopen (bijvoorbeeld door het aan te bieden in de last-minute tickets app). Laat ons dan op [email protected] even weten wie jouw plek overneemt. Vraag diegene ook om bij binnenkomst jouw naam te noemen.
