PLAY ABOUT A WOMAN is about someone in the audience. We don’t know who she is yet, but we are certain she’s going to show up. Featuring Natasha Mercado (Adult Swim, HBO) and an audience member, PLAY ABOUT A WOMAN is a comedic blend of absurdism, documentary, immersive theater and a whole lot of surprise.
PLAY ABOUT A WOMAN is a Best of Fringe award winner (SF, Boulder) and multiple award nominee at the 2024 Hollywood Fringe. Audiences have described this work as “funny", "brilliant" "unpredictable". In this new revision for the Lyric Hyperion, we’re making it funnier, brillianter, and unpredictabler. Anything can happen.
