Join Melbourne Water and Werribee River Association for a Waterways Walk along the Werribee River - home to the platypus! ๐งTake part in a guided tour along the Werribee River and hear from platypus ecologist Josh Griffiths (EnviroDNA) and local waste education experts during this 'walking panel'. Learn about the Werribee River platypus population and how litter impacts the platypus as we collect litter from the banks of the river - we'll also be sharing correct waste disposal techniques to reduce litter in your local community. ๐ฎ

Wyndham Park is accessible via public transport with Werribee Train Station located 600m away. Limited parking is located across the road and by the train station.
Be sun smart ๐ - bring a hat, sunscreen and water. Wear comfortable walking shoes for the waterways walk (~1km walk). Litter clean-up equipment will be provided.
