Plates & Platters in Clay with Wanda McMahan
Learn the skillful craft of constructing functional platters! Create up to 6 pieces; make a variety of sizes (maximum size is 12”X12” pre-fired). Wanda will guide you in choosing your form, ways to add visual interest (with textures, carving, underglazes, adding handles and feet or small sprigs), then lead you through finishing the edges to bring your platters to a clean completion. All pieces will be glazed during the 3rd class. All skill levels welcome.
