This course covers the practicalities of printing from aluminum lithography plates.
Participants will learn how to transfer drawings directly onto the plate with oxide paper and will explore different drawing techniques using lithography pencils, crayons and tusche washes to create different marks.
Participants will be taught how to prepare paper, learn registration techniques, and use APW’s manual and electric printing presses to develop the skills to produce their own original prints.
