About this Event
Are you keen to explore the world of plastic-free period products for yourself or someone in your care? Do you want to reduce the negative impact that traditional period products made of plastic have on our waterways and our bodies?
If so, join us at Frome Town Hall on 24th Sept from 6.30 pm - 8.30 pm for an informal evening. There will be expert talks on health and menstruation, short films and stalls, as well as an opportunity to explore products, get exclusive discounts, look at comparisons and socialise over drinks.
Stalls attending:
- Frome Materials Library - will be exploring what a period pant and pad contains
- River Vision project - will be talking about how our river is connected to our waste
- Cheeky Wipes - will be showcasing their latest menstrual and incontinence products and there will be a chance to try on products (over your clothing) to see which brand works best for you!
*Free period pant packs are available for Frome residentson pupil premium or year 8 & 9 school age. If you aren't able to make this event, there will be a pop-up stall in the Westway Precinct on Wed 25th September from 11.30 am - 4.30 pm.
