In our effort to assist people in need in our community and provide a simple way to recycle plastic bags, Paddle Perry is offering PLARN days again this winter. Community craft days will be held at Tell City Regional Arts. Create plastic yarn from plastic bags to crochet, knit or weave (or learn to) and create plastic mats! These mats are great for layering sleeping pads on top -- keeping you off of the ground and dry. All mats will be donated to a local charity that helps homeless folks in the area. Ten mats were donated last year -- let's match that this year! This project can take extra time outside of craft days to complete, and of course participants are welcome to create anytime throughout the year.
PLARN PREP SESSIONS & COMMUNITY CRAFT DAYS:
Friday, November 15 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. CST
Saturday, December 28 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. CST
Saturday, January 25 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. CST
Saturday, February 22 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. CST
We will have 2 weaving frames available and a couple extra crochet hooks. If you'd like to bring your own crochet hook be sure it's a large or jumbo size.

Completed projects can be dropped off during craft days or at Joe & Linda's Radio Sales, 3270 E ST RD 66, Cannelton, IN.
